They Ynnin are herbivorous and terrestrial mammals. Their dry homeworld is covered in large stretches of pampas and scrub forests. Their ancestors were well adapted for sprinting across the vast grasslands. Feral Ynnin are the major food supply for many higher heterotrophs, so the Ynnin developed cleverness as a tool for survival. Another tool they had was the tough armor on their skin. It is formed from scales tightly interlapping to form broad plates. The scales have a high elasticity and do not inhibit movement, but afford excellent protection from the outside. |
